The Butler County Fairgrounds are building a brand new multi-species livestock building and we are proud to help support them with a $7000 donation. The new building will replace three structures that were built in the 1940’s. Teardown and construction is underway and the new building is planned to be completed and ready for next year’s fair.
On August 3rd, the Viafield Community Enhancement Foundation, along with our grant partner CoBank, presented the North Butler Little League with $10,000 to be used towards equipment and construction of a new storage shed. The NB Little League is composed of kids from more than 6 surrounding communities and continues to grow every year. We’re proud to be able to help them with these much needed improvements.
On May 30, 2023, the Viafield Community Enhancement Foundation donated $4,000 to the Marble Rock Community Center. Thanks to a matching grant from Land O’Lakes, the center will now have the funds to purchase and install a new air conditioning system.
On March 26, 2023, members of the Viafield Community Enhancement Foundation presented a donation of $4,000 to Upper Iowa University. Thanks to matching funds from CHS, this contribution will assist the University in purchasing 12 Baby QCPR Manikins and 6 AED trainers for their First Aid Training Program.
On March 23, 2023, members of the Viafield Community Enhancement Foundation, along with our partner Land O’Lakes, presented the Northwood Volunteer Fire Department with a $6000 donation towards supplies and equipment for their new Rescue Truck.
On December 21, 2022, members of the Viafield Community Enhancement Foundation, along with our partner CoBank, presented the Sumner Daycare and Learning Center with a $5000 donation. These funds will help provide much needed supplies and improvements to the center.
Emergency services are vital to making sure the communities we serve are safe and prepared for when the unthinkable happens. On September 21st, members of the Viafield Community Enhancement Foundation presented a $5,000 donation to the Area Ambulance Service in Elgin. Thanks to a matching grant from our partner CoBank, the service will be able to purchase a Power Cot. This piece of equipment will provide greater stability and support for patients while decreasing strenuous lifting and associated risk of back injury to the EMT’s.
Our local fire departments are vital to keeping our communities safe year round. On June 27th, the VCEF, along with our partner, CoBank, presented the Kensett Fire Department with a $5,000 donation towards the purchase of new hoses and equipment.
On June 25th, The Viafield Community Enhancement Foundation (VCEF) along with our partner, Land O’Lakes, presented the Floyd County Ag Society with a $2,500 donation towards the audio/video system in the new Schartzrock Family Community Center. Congratulations!
On May 26th, along with our partner, CoBank, the foundation presented the Worth County Beautification Development group with a $5,000 donation towards the purchase of new tables and chairs to use for bingo during the fair. They will also be used within other buildings throughout the year.
On May 24th, members of The Viafield Community Enhancement Foundation, along with our partner, Land O’Lakes, presented the Rockford Volunteer Fire Department with a $2,500 donation towards the purchase of new bunker gear. This new gear will help the department keep our community safe for years to come.
