Position Overview: This position will report to our Shop Leader. This position is a non-exempt role. In this role you will be working on our fleet of grain and feed trucks and trailers. Ensuring vehicles are in working and safe conditions to be on the roadways.

Operations:

• Maintain a wide range of vehicles from passenger cars to heavy trucks and trailers.
• Ability to inspect diagnose and repair all systems of these vehicles including engine, transmission, brakes, air systems, lighting and electrical, suspension and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure that vehicles are safe to return to service.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete a written documents of worked performed and parts used
• Welding and fabrication of metals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent 2-year trade school required
• Related 2 years of work experience is preferred
• Must have the ability to obtain a Class A CDL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
