Position Summary: Reporting to the Logistics Leader, the Agronomy Dispatch is a exempt position. The Agronomy Dispatch would manage the daily and weekly routes of all of all agronomy custom application equipment. This role will ensure all work orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develops the plan to provide full-service application
  • Coordinates schedules to ensure timely execution of all work orders
  • Gathers needed information on and understanding of customer demands; inventory management, and build a basic understanding of agronomy product and knowledge.
  • Ensures product handling and delivery practices meet customer expectations, and daily, weekly, monthly, and annual business objectives.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with team members to identify opportunities for new services and further expansion of logistics capability
  • Identifies problems and inefficiencies in logistics processes; presents and implements enhancements and solutions to address these issues
  • Maintains current knowledge of logistics and technology developments and trends; recommends and implements improvements based on this knowledge to provide more efficient service to clients
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science, or related field, OR related experience is preferred.
  • Two years of experience in the distribution or transportation industry preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and a variety of duties.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with computer-based management systems for inventory control, shipping operations, and fulfillment services.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
